Wedding season is upon us! As June is known to have the most weddings, I thought it was the perfect time to share some bridal content. Summer is usually packed with weddings, showers, and events. I often share what to wear if you are attending one of the occasions like in this post or this post, but it has been a while since I have addressed what the bride should wear!
It is of course typical for a bride to wear white for her special events and showers. White dresses come in all shapes and sizes and will always be a timeless classic. But how fun would it be to change it up and sport a chic, yet classy jumpsuit for your debut! Whatever your budget, you are sure to find one that you love. Splurge on this chic number or save (without sacrificing cuteness) with this stunning style.
But let’s be honest, you don’t have to be a bride to wear a classic white jumpsuit. The rule is that you can’t wear white to a bridal event. But baby showers and other summer festivities are fair game! Add an extra summery feel by pairing your jumpsuit with some raffia wedges. I love that they give a slight vacation feel without dressing it down too much.
If you are in the Florida, I highly recommend taking a trip down to Plant City and visiting The Sparkman House Luxury Bed and Breakfast. They actually host weddings, wine tastings, and bridal events! How adorable are the photos in their Victorian inspired tea room?! Oh how I wish tea parties were still a thing!
For my weddings events and showers, I actually wore a different white dress to each. If jumpsuits had been more popular then, I would have definitely rocked one for my rehearsal dinner or shower! Actually one of my very first blog posts from back in the day was called Little White Dresses, and I shared all of the dresses that I wore for my bridal showers and events.
