Beach Cover Up: Similar, Better Beach Bag: Here Shoes: Very Similar
Girl summer has gotten serious over here in Vegas! It is not messing around! We are talking 106 degree weather and you know what that means… pool all day every day! Okay, well as wonderful as it sounds to just be a beach bum all day, it isn’t realistic. Girlboss gotta work! So that means when it is time to take a trip you the beach, you need to be well prepared.
It can get boring pretty quickly sitting pool side and staring at nothing but the blazing sun. Bringing a few fun essentials can make your beach or pool day way more comfortable and entertaining. Today I am sharing a few of my beach bag essentials to make the experience much more glamorous!
1. A Fabulous Beach Bag
This beach tote not only looks adorable but it is also super practical. I love that I can stuff so much in here and it still is so cute carrying around.
2. A Fun Colored Towel
As I talked about in my post on affordable beach wear, having a towel that compliments your bathing suit is so fun and makes for great photo opportunities!
3. A Liquid Lipstick
I love sporting a bold lip at the pool. And what is better than having a lipstick that lasts all day while you are lounging around the water? Liquid lipsticks are the way to go when you want to look good sitting poolside but don’t want to mess with reapplying your makeup later on.
4. Mascara
I never go to the pool with my lashes bare. This mascara isn’t even water proof and it looks great even if it gets wet. I love bringing this in my bag with me just in case.
5. Reading Material
Whether it is a few magazines or the latest thriller, reading material is must have. I am currently reading Why is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me by Mindy Kaling and Make It Happen by Lara Casey.
6. The Necessities
You can’t forget the basics like sunscreen, sunglasses, cell phone, and wallet! I really love this sun screen by Sun Bum. I never burn but still get a tan!
