I have one of those personalities that has a tendency to stick to something when I find what it is I really like. I am that girl that orders the same thing when she goes out to eat because she is afraid that if she takes a chance and steps out of her comfort zone, it just might not taste as good as her normal order! Ridiculous, I know. I am the same exact way with beauty products. I love to try new products; however, once I find something I like it can be difficult to pry me away from it!
Last year I discovered a few products that have really become my Holy Grail Can’t Live Without Products. Although I may branch out and try new things, I will always have these items sitting on my vanity because they are THAT good.
1. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
Okay I might be beating a dead horse here, but I seriously adore this foundation. It gives you full coverage with a natural/ satin finish. I love it because it covers everything without making me look cakey. I have a have a whole blog post on my foundation routine that you can read here.
2. Laura Mercier Loose Translucent PowderÂ
I am proud to say that I had this product long before it was all the rage on YouTube. I feel like I deserve a gold star or something for that! Just kidding! This powder is excellent at setting your foundation. It will keep it in place all day without looking dry or unnatural. I even set my under eyes with this powder as well.
3. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
Hello Full Coverage Concealer! This baby conceals those dark circles like it was it’s full time job, well technically it is his job! I love how well this conceals any darkness. But you do need to set it with a powder so that it does’t crease.
4. Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter
This product always makes my highlight on fleakkk. This is perfect for those of you who are fair to medium skin tone. I tend to be on the fair side most of the time, although I am hoping that will change by living in the sunlight of Las Vegas! But this gives me such a gorgeous glow and I always get compliments on it when I am out.
5. M.A.C Melba Blush
Talk about the perfect peachy pink cheeks. This is such a beautiful natural shade of blush. I always go for this when I not want to think about my makeup. I know it is going to look good no matter what I do with my makeup.
6. Anastasia Brow Wiz in Taupe
How I did my eye brows before this I will never know! I have really been into a more structured brow lately. This little guy is great at giving you precision as well as filling in those sparse areas. This is a must have product for sure!
7. Maybelline Gel Liner in Blackest Black
I am a ride or die gel liner fan. It is much easier for me to get a precise line with an angled brush and a gel formula. This formula is great and the color is super black. I just don’t see the point in spending a lot of money on gel liner when this one does the trick!
8. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
I have a lot of bronzers in my collection and this one is definitely my “go to.” I love how smoothly it applies to the face and the color is excellent for those who have a light to medium skin tone. It really gives life to my face without look chalky or powdery.
9. Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anita
I am a peachy pink nude lip kinda gal on most days. Recently I have been experimenting with brighter colors, but for day to day wear my go to is Nars Anita Lipstick. It is a great medium to dark toned neutral pink color. I love that it is not drying on the lips and it lasts for at least five hours!
10. Nars Lipgloss in Chelsea Girls
I am a glossy gal. I prefer to have slippery lips as opposed to the super matte look. For daily wear, I adore Nars Lipgloss in Chelsea Girls. It is another peachy pink gloss and it pairs perfectly with the Anita lipstick.
