I am pretty sure we could all agree that if mermaids were real [I am sorry if I just disappointed a few of you who still believe in their existence] we would be totally envious of their gorgeous array of sea hair. Although, all styles of hair have their perks, there is just something so feminine and even sexy about having long locks.
But some of us were not genetically blessed enough to have our hair grow at the speed of light, giving us hair down to our bottom. But lucky for us ladies, extensions are the answer we have been looking for! Although it might not be for everyone, having a set of extensions really can take your hair game to the next level!
Recently, I was able to try a brand of hair extensions by Irresistible Me, which is a growing brand of 100% natural Remy clip-in hair extensions, hair accessories and hair tools. One of first things I noticed about their brand was how reasonable the prices were in comparison to other brands on the market.
Here are my thoughts on the extensions I received:
I chose the 18′ set in the color Platinum Blonde in the Silky Touch Line. Before I received them, I knew that I would need to bring them to my stylist to tone because they naturally had a warmer color to them, which would not work with my ashy blonde color. I ended up bringing them to my stylist and she had no trouble toning them to make match my current hair color perfectly. So, if you have an issue finding your perfect match, know that you can easily bring them to a colorist. However, always remember that you CANNOT die extensions LIGHTER. You can only die them darker.
Irresistible Me Hair Extensions come with a total of 10 wefts (not all pictured). You seriously get so much hair it is basically ridiculous! I actually tried wearing half the wefts that it comes with and I just couldn’t!
Overall, I am very pleased with the brand. I previously have used and loved the Bellami Hair Extensions, but due to my recent color change, they no longer matched my hair color. But they are definitely on the pricey side. If you are trying hair extensions for the first time than I think Irresistible Me gives you high quality hair for a very reasonable price. It can be so fun to have a set of extensions on hand to give added length and volume to your hair.
I love that the brand gives you multiple length choices and color options. I think I am going to end up cutting the ’18 set that I got to be a little shorter. Because I am only 5’3 I don’t want my extensions to make me a appear even shorter! If you are on the taller side, that I recommend a little extra length!
