I know a lot of you ladies out there have a sour taste in your mouth when you hear the words Valentine’s Day. And although I know it is definitely a commercial holiday, it still can be fun to celebrate all those you love.
As I mentioned in my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide, I am so thrilled to have my best friends from college come and visit me during this week! So this has definitely got me thinking about ways that I can spoil them while they are here. But treating your gal pals doesn’t need to cost you a fortune. It can be super easy and simple to do something cute for your gals without break your budget!
So make it easy on yourself and copy one of these 5 ways to treat your gal pals this Vday!
1. Pick up their favorite latte or grab them a cute travel mug.
Something as simple of picking them up their favorite drink could really just kick start their day. [Literally!] There are also so many adorable travel mugs around this time of here. I linked a cute one in my Gift Guide that you could check out as well.
2. Pick them up a shade of pink nail polish and invite them over for a nail painting session!
There really is nothing like a group of girls painting their nails together. And the best part is that you laugh so hard you have to start over because you totally got the polish all over your foot!
3. Invite them over for cocktails and play Cards Against Humanity.
I just did a post on a Coconut Cloud Cocktail. They taste so good! And if you haven’t played this card game, YOU HAVEN’T LIVED! Seriously, you will pee your pants!
4. Make them a cute mailbox and stuff it with letters
I found these mailboxes in the dollar spot at Target. Seriously though, how cute! I thought it would be fun to decorate the boxes and then write a few cute notes to remind them how much they mean to you.
5.Host a Valentine’s Day Brunch
I came across this party idea on Pinterest and thought it was such a great way to celebrate. I think I will be doing something similar to this while my friends are in town. Hey, it’s an excuse to drink mimosas!
To be honest with you, I will probably end up doing all of these this week! Your gals have probably been there for you through thick and thin, sobfests, and even some life changing events! So celebrate them and let them know they are loved!
