Two Piece Set: Elliat // Handbag: Neely & Chloe // Heels: Justfab
Quarantine has done some interesting things for me. I have been focusing a lot on gratitude. I know that I am blessed, and I am so thankful for our safety and well being during these challenging times. Having this extra time to try new things and actually have the space to breath and to grow has allowed me the opportunity to have a change in perspective.
My life has felt out of balance for almost a year now. Working full time, blogging, motherhood, being a wife, and keeping up with the basics of a household, was leaving me stressed, unhappy, and frustrated. So I can’t help but to be reminded that I am so lucky to have had this time to rethink not only what I do personally on a day to day basis, but also the type of content that I want to bring you.
Creating aesthetically pretty photos and curating fashion forward and feminine outfits has been something I have prioritized in terms of my content. And that is something that I stand by and do enjoy doing. I think my photography is also something that you enjoy as well. But my heart has been calling out for a while now, to share MORE with you. I want to continue to show you pretty pictures and outfits; however, I am so much more than that as person. And I have been craving to share more of my actual LIFE with you.
Especially on Instagram and through the polls and direct messages, you kept telling me that you wanted more categories and more real life. But I have been so scared to break from the security of my perfectly captured images and branded story. I think I feared that you wouldn’t want to see more of ME and that you really just wanted to be inspired or shown something pretty.

And I think at the end of the day I felt really restricted in my content, with one else to blame but myself. I was putting myself in a box creatively and got bored of my own content. “They don’t want to see that.” Are words that I would constantly find myself saying. “But would they even care?” But time and again, you continued to tell me that you liked my fashion, but still wanted to see other categories and real life.
Glam Life Living was always meant to be more of a lifestyle story/brand. But in order to fit in to the Instagram world and grow, I narrowed in on myself in the pure fashion category. But Glam Life Living is really about intentional living as a whole. My goal is that by sharing my life and tips, that you will be able to also walk alongside me on the path of self growth and development. My ultimate belief is that we are meant to work toward becoming the best version of ourselves, knowing that we will probably never get there, and be at peace with that.
Starting video and sharing more of my personality with you, has really opened up a joy that I was not expecting. Having more conversions with you through video content, has actually made my heart so much happier. This is really what made me realize that I don’t want to just hide behind perfectly curated photos. I also want to talk with you through video, and stories, and get to know each other better.
Yes, I will still be showing you pretty pictures and fashion forward outfits. But I also want to share more of my LIFE with you. In hopes that we can build a community together of people who are just working toward living with intention and purpose. I want to share more of my heart with you. And I hope that that is okay with you. So expect more life, and more iPhone photos. I still want to bring you editorial like content, but also mix more real life family moments.
Bare with me as I make this transition and know that I will struggle along the way. Please leave me your feedback and topics or videos that you would like to see from me. As a side note, I have some already edited posts and content coming and it may be a few posts before you get more of that raw and less of those perfectly curated images. I want my content to be a balance of pretty editorial/ aspirational content with more real life. I will continue to push myself and share more of myself. Cheers to a new adventure! Thanks for sticking with me.
Thanks so much for reading!
