I can’t believe it is almost October already! This year is seriously flying by! But the good news is that October is my favorite month. There is something about this time of year that actually triggers a happiness button inside my soul. My whole life, Fall has always been a time of great joy. The crisp air, pumpkin spices, and Fall fashion make me so joyful! 

Since it is Friday, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the reasons Fall is my favorite month and maybe give you a little inspiration and excitement!

1. Dark Lipsticks 

Now I am not talking about deep purples or black lipstick. Simple mauve and berry shades are what I tend to gravitate toward during these months. I have also been obsessing over cool toned pinks such as Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick.

2. Running Season

In college especially, I loved running during this time of year. I also had a family tradition of running the Halloween 5K. When the weather gets cool, I find it to be so freeing to go for a run. Unfortunately, my knees have really been bothering me, which is why I switched to Spin Class. But I am desperate to hit the pavement again!

3. Romantic Date Nights

For whatever reason, I always feel like my favorite date night memories have been during the month of October. I think it is because the hubs and I try to get adventurous and fit in as many pumpkin and Halloween activities as we can. Last year, we did a haunted house walk through at our local theme park and had an absolute blast! I am excited to see what crazy activities Las Vegas has to offer for Halloween!

4. Halloween, Duh!

Dressing up, exotic makeup looks, and free candy. I mean what more do you want out of life! Two years ago, we threw a Brothers Grimm Halloween Party. 5. Fall Fashion

This is another no brainer! Scarves, bags, and boots make the world go round! I am an accessory girl and Fall is the season where you can layer it all girl! You should see my scarf collection… It’s a little out of hand!
