Dress: Gamiss Wedges: Similar Hat: Similar Lipstick: Estee Lauder Intense Nude
It is no secret that I have a slight obsession with lacy fabrics, ruffles, florals, or anything that screams feminine. And honestly, I’m not mad at it. I know what I like and I am comfortable sticking with it. Afterall, the whole point of style is to dress in a way that makes you happy and confident. There are times when I am shopping and I see an item that screams me. But I will ask myself, “Hannah, do you really need another item that has lace on it?” And most of the time, I am able to walk away proud that I resisted the temptation.
But as you probably know, sometimes it feels so good to just give in! Yes, I have several white dresses. Do I really need another one? No, I don’t. And are you sick and tired of seeing white dresses on the blog? Possibly. But sometimes you just have give in to the obsession! Plus, Fall is up and coming and our days of white fabrics and strappy sandals are coming to an end. Could you cry? I could. Although that is probably just the pregnancy hormones.
The beauty of white dresses is that they are timeless. You will always be able to come back to it next season. I did want to mention that this dress is on the short side and the fabric is rather thin. So I do recommend wearing a slip underneath. Obviously the belly makes the dress a litter shorter. But one of my favorite tips to making a short dress work in my favor is to wear it with a pair of leggings and over the knee boots. Plus it is a great way to get some extra use out of dresses that might be more summer appropriate.
During the last few weeks of summer, I will be wearing as many white lacy fabrics as my little heart and huge pregnant belly desires! Thanks for reading. Stop back soon.
This dress is so cute. I am totally in love with lace and frills too.
Have a beautiful week.
Love, Esther
