This weekend I am traveling to visit family, so I wasn’t able to get a makeup look up for you guys. But I thought I would share with you my go to items that are always in my makeup bag! Everyday I create a different makeup look. I enjoy experimenting with different shades and colors on the daily. But there are several products that I cannot help but grab every day. These items are my “go tos” or “holy grails,” as some might say!
1. Make Up Forever HD Foundation– This is definitely my favorite foundation. I like a lot of different foundations, but this never fails me! It gives me a good medium coverage without looking ‘cakey’ or overly done. It also looks amazing on camera!
2. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer- I recently purchased this and it is already my go to bronzer! I also LOVE Nars Laguna Bronzer. I like that both bronzers are matte and could be used for either contouring or just warming up the complexion.
3. Mac Pro LongWear Concealer– To be honest, I love this concealer so so much that I almost refuse to give anything else a chance! It covers dark circles great, while providing brightness!
4. Urban Decay Primer Potion– This is my favorite eye shadow primer. It holds my shadow in place, enhances the color, and increases its wear time.
5. Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara– I like my mascaras to make my lashes thick, full, and long. This mascara gives me all three! I do not like the mascaras that have a ‘spidery’ or ‘clumpy’ look. This mascara has a fluffy and full effect.
6. Mac Gel Liner– Gel liner is my staple! I rarely go without it! I prefer it to a liquid because I feel that it is easier to manipulate. I especially like gel for making a winged liner effect.
7. Mac Blush in Margin-This is such a gorgeous blush! It is a warm shimmery peach shade that really makes me feel feminine and flirty!
8. Makeup Geek Eye Shadows– I have several different eye shadow palettes, but these shadows are just so pigmented and beautiful. If I am going for an everyday makeup look than I chose the shades shimma shimma, barcelona beach, and mocha.
9. Anastasia Brow Wiz– I have a confession. This year was the first year I really started to pay attention to my eye brows. And let me tell you … I am SO HAPPY I stopped neglecting them! They need some lovin! Your eye brows shape your entire face, and really make a different in your makeup look. This wiz has changed my life! I fill in my brows with this everyday.
10. Laura Mercier Highlighter in 01– This is such a beautiful natural vanilla colored highlight. You apply this to the high points of your cheek bones, down the nose, cupids bows, etc. It adds such a natural glow to your complexion.
I love so many beauty products, but these are the ones I reach for on the daily!
