We’re moving…again! I know, I know. If you have been following my journey for a while, you are probably like, “Seriously, Hannah! You are always moving!” And you’re not wrong! These past couple of years have been a whirlwind as my husband’s job has had us live in several places in our short five years of married life. I know many of you can relate with the chaos of unknown, especially my military wives. I have so much sympathy for you, and know that that can be such a difficult sacrifice.

We started out our marriage in New York. And shortly after moved to Danbury, Connecticut. We had lived there less than a year before James’ job required us to pick up and move to the fabulous Las Vegas! And at first, I was not too happy about living in “Sin City.” But I quickly found that I rather enjoyed our new tropical life! We lived there for almost 3 years and it was the absolute best decision for my husband’s career. But we knew that we didn’t want to settle down there and raise a family. We had the opportunity to move here to Dallas, Texas last year for another job opportunity (in his same position) that would allow us to start a more stable life. We thought that it would be a place that we could settle down in for a few years away from the upbeat chaos of Vegas. So what happened?

After living here for a few months, it started to look like the job opportunity that brought us here was not going to happen anymore. And it ended up being a good thing! My husband got a better promotion and was able to stay home and work remotely, while traveling 1-2 times a month. But since we both work from home now, we started to wonder if we were really meant to be here in Dallas with no family in the area. With an almost two year old, it was getting hard being away from family and missing out on those Holiday traditions!

“Okay Hannah, so where are you moving!” Okay sorry. I just wanted to give you the back story so that you could get a little perspective on why we are leaving Dallas just one year later. But we are moving to FLORIDA! My husband’s parents and a few siblings live there. And I also have a few aunts, uncles, and even a grandmother there as well. It just makes sense to be around family while we have a little one.

We are going to be living a little north of the Tampa area and bought our first house! It has been a very crazy and stressful time as we tried to nail down a place with much trial and error. But believe it or not, we are moving in just about a WEEK! Our house won’t be ready till the end of May, so we will be staying with his parents for around 10 days until we can move into our new place.

I just wanted to say thank you to every single one of you who has been so supportive of my family and I. I especially wanted to say a special thanks to my Dallas ladies who have been so welcoming and kind to me. I will miss being apart of this Dallas blogging community, but am so thankful for the world of social media that will keep us connected.

Thanks so much for reading!
