A Thanksgiving Outfit You Already Have in Your Closet

A Mom and Baby Thanksgiving Outfit

Thanksgiving is sneaking up fast! I have been so distracted with life lately that I have completely forgotten about planning my Thanksgiving outfit. This year I will be hosting dinner for the first time, and I am a little nervous about cooking so many dishes for such an important occasion. Holidays are about to enter a whole new level now that I am a mom. I want to start traditions and memories that will mean something to my son one day.

But if you have been busy with life lately, I have you covered! Today I wanted to share this simple outfit that you probably have in your wardrobe already! This last minute Thanksgiving look takes a simple recipe that you can follow by grabbing these items that are already in your closet.

1. Black V Neck Sweater

I think all of us have a classic v neck sweater. Black is easy as it will pair well with anything you throw together. But you can also go with another neutral sweater as well.

2. Plaid Scarf

Plaid screams fall. Scarves with warm tones such as red, orange, or yellow give a festive Thanksgiving feel. Scarves are also a great way to dress up your look and take it up a notch with minimal effort.

3. Knee Length Skirt

This skirt has been one of my favorite items I have purchased this season. It pairs beautifully with sweaters. Wearing a knee length skirt will make you feel a little more dressed up without sacrificing comfort.

4. Over the Knee Boots

We all obsess over a great over the knee boot. My favorite way to wear them are paired with a shorter skirt. These Vince Camuto boots have been a great addition to my closet. But whatever pair you have will work great!

And that’s it! You only need these four items to create this easy Thanksgiving look. And if you are wondering about my little nugget’s outfit, I actually found it at TJ Maxx. I wasn’t able to find it online, but you can try your local store!

My little Oliver is definitely the thing I am thankful for the most this year. What are you all thankful for? I would love to read your comments below!
