When you think of the south, your mind can’t help but wander to the pleasantries in life like apple pie, front porch laughter, sweet iced tea, and all around southern charm. Adorable phrases like, “God bless your little heart,” start swimming around in your heart. But so often southern style is thought of as “old fashioned” or “too classic.” Today, I wanted to bring you a look that had a slight southern feel, but also had a modern and slightly sexy twist!
You are probably tired of me professing my love of yellow this season. But I just can’t help myself! This Saylor yellow striped dress is just the perfect mix of attitude and femininity. Stripes are a preppy print that is considered a closet staple in the southern wardrobe.
