Sequins Shorts and Denim Shirt

There really is nothing like a group of girls bringing piles upon piles of clothing into a fitting room to have a mini fashion show for each other in hopes to find that perfect item. I have always considered myself more of a solo shopper. I like having the freedom of going store to store as quickly as I want. But after having some of my college girlfriends come visit me, I was reminded of the joys of frivolous shopping with your gal pals.

During our search for the prefect dress for a night out, I discovered these adorable sequins shorts. That night I actually wore these with a yellow crop top, statement necklace, and heels and went out for a night here in Vegas. I wanted a way to make these adorable statement shorts day time appropriate. And this is the look I came up with!

Pairing nicer items with your casual wear is actually such a great way to get more use out of all the pieces in your wardrobe. I wore this outfit while shopping at our local outlet mall, and I can’t even tell you how many people stopped to tell me how much they loved these shorts!
