September is just one of those months that confuses me. I am partially in denial that summer is over, but also excited to jump into the Fall trends and makeup looks. The weather is up and down and you don’t know whether to be happy or sad about the situation that is September. Anyone else share those feelings?! That being said, I did have some products that I was obsessing over this month! So let’s begin with my September Beauty Favorites!
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dusty Rose Liquid Lipstick
Liquid lipsticks are all the rage now and for a good reason! Who doesn’t want a lipstick that lasts all day? Anastasia Beverly Hills reformulated their liquid lipsticks and added some new colors for the Fall season. I picked up Dusty Rose, which is a dark mauve pink. I have loved pairing this with some gold shadow on the lids!
2. Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick
Continuing on the topic of matte lips. I also fell in love with Kat Von D’s Liquid Lipsticks. Their formula is so easy to apply and they come in so many fun colors for the Fall season. Lovesick is another mauve pink color; however it is much lighter than the Anastasia Dusty Rose shade.
3. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
This has quickly become a holy grail product for me. And I know I am not the only one who has fallen in love with this foundation. It gives full coverage without looking cakey or overdone. I get compliments on my skin almost every time I wear it! And to me, that is a definite plus!
4. Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in 3oM
It has been a while since I really liked a bronzer. What made me go head over heels about this product was the way it melts into the skin and gives you a bronzy glow without the powdery finish. I did noticed that you have to break through the first layer before the product has good pigmentation.
5. Johoba Oil as Makeup Remover
When I ran out of my beloved Bioderma, I grabbed some Jojoba oil to remove my makeup instead. I really grew to enjoy how easily it took off both my face and eye makeup off without stripping my skin. It actually helps to moisturize the skin as it removes makeup, which is definitely a plus! I have a whole post on some DIY skincare if you are interested!
6. Clinique Turnaround Moisturizer
This nighttime moisturizer has quickly become a staple in my nightly skincare routine. The next morning my skin looks renewed and more radiant. Those with dry skin may need more moisture, but I love it for my combination skin.
7. Target Candles |Autumn Harvest|
During a weak moment in Target, I picked up several Fall candles. I love having a candle lit at all time to bring the essense of the Fall season. I have really enjoyed burning the Autumn Harvest, which smells like cinnamon and crisp Autumn air!
8. RocksBox Jewelry Subscription
