Romantic Coral and Gold Look

December 19, 2014

yessI know, I know! It is almost Christmas, so why on earth would I do a coral and gold look?! Well to be honest, I was just a little bored of doing red lip makeup looks! I wanted to switch it up and do a more wearable look for those of you out there that are not obsessing over Christmas. And this is the look I came up with!

I am that girl that loves liner! I could rock the winged liner every single day. I also rarely go a day without at least a little shadow on my lower lash line. I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and not wear any liner under my eye. And what do you know? I ACTUALLY LIKED IT! I found that it made the overall look more innocent and romantic.

Here are the Products I Used:

unnamed-1FACE:

* Prep your skin. After I cleansed and moisturized, I applied my Smashbox Photo finish primer. I love this product because it really fills in my pores and fine lines, creating a smooth surface for foundation.

*Apply foundation. I always use a flat top kabuki brush. I place 2-3 pumps on my hand and then dip my brush in the product. First I will stipple it all over my face and then I will buff it into the skin using circular motions.

* Conceal or highlight your face using a concealer that is two shades lighter than your skin tone. I dabbed the product under my eyes and on my chin and forehead.

* Bronze your face by moving your brush in circular motions on the sides of your forehead, temples, and under your cheekbones.

* Apply a peachy pink blush to the apples of your cheeks and then draw the product along your cheekbones without adding any extra product.

* Apply a beige highlighter (Becca Opal) on the cheekbones and done the center of the nose.
yes2Eyes:

* You can complete the eyes using the Urban Decay Original Naked Palette.

*Take the shade Naked and use a large blending brush to apply that above your crease as a transition color.

*Next apply the color Buck in the crease of your eye using a smaller more tapered blending brush.

* Apply Half Baked all over your lid by pressing on the lid. Do not be shy when applying this color. I went back two- three times doing with that same color.

* Take Dark Horse and focus that color on the outer half of the lid. Do this by creating a v shape on the outer half of the eye.

* Draw your winged liner and then apply mascara on the top and bottom lashes or apply falsies.

Lips:

This is my favorite part of this look!

* You can line your lips first with a nude liner if you wish before apply the peachy nude lipstick by Mac Cosmetics.

* Then apply the Gerard Cosmetics lip gloss in Coral Bliss to complete the look!
