My husband often tells me he believes I was born in the wrong era. My heart belongs to the 50s. As much as fashion has adapted and changed since then, we still revert back to some of their signature trends. I created this retro inspired beach look for all you ladies who are old in spirit as well!
I am definitely a more conservative dresser. Of course there are times that I will dress on the sexier side, but I often find myself pulling down my skirt or looking down to make sure the “girls”
are in check. The same is true for my beach wear. I am just not comfortable prancing around in a g string bikini and it has nothing to do with body insecurities. I prefer a style that is still going to give me some coverage. So if you also like this style of swim wear, you will love this bikini combo!
A red colored bikini was a must for me this season and this one hit all my marks. Red looks so good on pretty much everyone. But I also love the contrast of the blonde hair and deep red. I also purchased a black deep v one piece with white crochet detailing. I wore that while I was in Florida, and I will hopefully shoot that look eventually as well.
But seriously, how gorgeous does this beach look? Trust me it was as beautiful as it looked. San Diego skies are calling me back. I mean not going to lie, laying on the beach sounds way better on a Wednesday than going to work. But I don’t think anyone would disagree with that!
