This weekend we had our small holiday Christmas party with my husband’s side of the family. We put together this festive pink tablescape with this fun vintage set of mistletoe china. The beauty of tablescaping is that a simple table can actually appear a lot more extravagant with a few tips and tricks.
The biggest stand out to this set up is the dusty rose tablecloth that I found on Amazon. Tablecloths are so underrated. Especially since they are coming back into style as of recent. Plus if you have an older table, it hides the scratches and scuffs!
I also love the glamour of 1950s tables or even pulling inspiration from the luxurious tablecapes of the French in the 18th Century like Versailles or Marie Antoinette. Crystal glassware is the best way to channel this aesthetic! Lastly, these burgundy candles really tie it all together as our simple center piece.

I know the holidays look differently this year, but setting a beautiful tablescape even for a smaller group of guests can make the day just as memorable. We will never get to relive this year, I know that for most of us that is exciting. But let’s still remember to seize the moment we have and make the most of it!
