So these pictures were supposed to go up last week. And obviously they didn’t. That is only the beginning of the bad mistakes that I made this week, including the massive amounts of pizza and cookies I just had! P.S wouldn’t that monkey emoji that is covering his eyes be perfect right now? The truth is that we all fall off the bandwagon from time to time. And it can be easy to just give up and throw our hands in the air. But we are human, and we will occasionally fall into the traps of temptation, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t start over and hit that reset button again.

What better day than Monday to give ourselves a fresh start. Maybe you slacked off a little like me this week and are ready to give this week your all. So brush that dirt off your shoulder girl because it is time to get it together! But don’t worry, I got your back. We will wipe our slate clean together. So here are a few ways I think we can hit that reset button today.

1. Take Another Look at That 2017 Resolution List

Most of us probably started off strong on that bucket list for this year. But around this time, it can be easy to forget what we swore we would accomplish. Simple reading over your list can re-motivate you to make those things happen!

2. Plan Out Your Day

Grab your planner and start making a list of all the little tasks and “to dos” you need to get done this week. I find this to be a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. I think that I often rely too much on my mind to keep track of everything, but when you write it down on paper, you can take some of that burden off your brain.

3. Eliminate Diet Distractions

Last night, we went over to a friends house and they ordered pizza and made us homemade cookies. It can be so difficult in those situations to eat healthy, when your really have no other choice. But today is a new day, and I am going to eliminate distractions by clearing out any “temptations” out of my fridge and pantry. I am picking myself back up and starting fresh and eating as clean as possible today.

4. Take Care of Yourself

Hitting that reset button often means taking the time to relax or rest. That might mean going to bed early, taking a bath, reading a book, or doing an exercise routine. Listen to your body and decide what it needs today. I will be forcing myself to do my workout routine today, especially since I ate a little too much pizza yesterday! Here is My Diet + Exercise Routine.

5. Dress Up Today!

I have said this several times on the blog. When you feel and look good, you often accomplish more. So I encourage you to dress the part today. I am loving this ruffle crop blouseIt combines flirty and feminine with a casual kind of vibe, which I find to be totally perfect. But whatever you have in your closet will work. Just make sure it makes you feel pretty and confident!

What are some other ways we could hit that reset button today? How do you get back on track? Thanks for stopping by!
