Happy Friday loves! If you watch my Instagram stories, then you will know that my sweet husband surprised me with a lovely bag for Easter. We usually do not do gifts, and I was quite surprised to find this blue number on my doorstep! It’s actually quite ironic as I did a blog post on my floral handbag picks for spring and summer earlier this week. My favorite floral picks from the post were by the brand Neely & Chloe, which is the same designer of this stunning blue satin lady bag!
I was actually so torn if I should exchange it for the floral one that I even polled you guys over on Instagram Stories to help me pick! And 85% voted for me to keep the blue one! I promised that I would get a post up for you today, so that you could get the details on it as quickly as possible.
As I get older, the more I want a timeless wardrobe that will last me for years to come. You may have even noticed quite a shift in the overall vibe here on Glam Life Living as I have grown and matured. I am no longer drawn to as loud of prints and colors and have gradually found myself to venture to the soft, romantic, and elegant.
This Neely & Chloe mini blue satin lady bag is exactly that. It married the idea of classic and vintage glamour and brings it to you in a modern and luxurious way. The solid coloring does allow you to pair it with a large variation of color palettes in your wardrobe. My favorite way to dress it up is to wrap a floral scarf delicately around the handle.
To give you an idea on the size, I was able to fit my iPhone 8 Plus, car keys, lip products, card holder, and still had room for more items. It is not a wide handbag, but you do have a lot of room in terms of depth. It also comes with a strap that I know I will find myself using for more daywear. The beauty of this style is that you really can wear it for daytime as a crossbody and then take off the strap and add an elegant scarf for a romantic dinner date! If blue isn’t your thing, they offer two other floral styles in the satin material. However, if you wanted another solid color option you would have to do with the leather options.
