Earrings can completely transform an outfit. I can tell you from experience because I had to go without wearing them for seven months! Last year, I actually had an earring ripe completely through my ear. I ended up having to have surgery, and they had to sew my ear back together! I finally got my ears repierced this past January. I can’t believe that I went that long without wearing earrings. Since having my ears pierced again, I have grown to appreciate the art and statement that can come with wearing a pair of earrings.
Earrings used to be something I completely overlooked. I had always been a bag lover and neglected to grow my jewelry collection. To this day, my collection is rather pathetic. I have made it my mission, since getting my ears pierced again, to slowing build a jewelry wardrobe of statement earrings. They really are such a fun way to spice up an outfit and add personality.
Especially if you are an office working girl, earrings are a perfect way to show some of your personal style if you are limited to a more professional work wardrobe. Or if you have a closet that is more of a capsule collection, a fun earring can make a little black dress or basic white t look a lot more exciting.
