There is something so romantic about the way the breeze grabs your skirt on a warm day. It flows with the beat of the wind, and for a second, you think you are Marilyn Monroe in The Seven Year Itch when her skirt goes wild from the gush of wind from the subway. We might not be living out the plot of a 1950s movie, but we can try to make aspects of our daily life feel a little more twirl worthy.
As you may have noticed, I feel my most comfortable in a dress. But I have been trying to step outside of my comfort zone and bring you more variety of looks by changing up my clothing categories aside from just dresses. I have brought you a few denim looks recently that you can see here and here; however, I discovered that skirts have been a category of clothing I highly overlooked.
For those of you, my friends, who are not as inclined to dresses, you may find that skirts are a more attainable option for you. What I liked about the wrap style is that it is a flattering shape for every body type. The adjustable ties allow for you to make it a comfortable fit for you. There are so many styles and prints to love, including this floral ruffle style or even a plaid print that you can wear to work as well.
Are you more of a skirt or dress person? If you are not normally into either, maybe try starting with a wrap style as it is super comfortable, figure flatting, and easy to wear!
