What a whirlwind of a few months this has been. I just looked at the calendar and realized we have been living in Florida for almost three months now! Although a lot of that time has been traveling, it seems crazy to me that so much time has passed. Florida life is definitely a change in lifestyle. After living in such fast paced cities such as Las Vegas and Dallas, the Tampa area does feel a little more relaxed. We have embraced a slower paced lifestyle and enjoyed simple moments and lazy beach days.
To be honest, it has been a hard few months. There have been a variety of emotions like the excitement of buying our first home to the stress of moving an adjusting to a new place. Along with all that comes with a change of lifestyle, I have also gone back to work full time, teaching first grade. It has been difficult juggling the chaos of continued home products, wife and mother duties, running a blog, and teaching again. But I know that this too shall pass and I will get into the swing of things again soon.
Right before returning back to work, we took a day trip to Sarasota. I have had The Ringling Museum on my list of spots to shoot and it really was as dreamy as it looked! We are dying to go back and explore it to its fullest. But if you are in the Sarasota area at any point, I recommend making time to see it!
We have also really enjoyed exploring the St. Petersburg and love stopping by the stunning resorts such as the Don CeSar. We are still taking our time to get the know the surrounding areas. But if you know of any spots that you think we may enjoy, leave a comment below!
