Some days we are just NOT feeling it! You might even wish that you instantly had Harry Potter powers that would could make you look put together and glamorous without exerting any effort! The spell would probably be something like “Expectro Patronum Thy Clothes On!” I kid. I kid!

But the truth is sometimes a girl wants to look chic and feel comfortable! I mean do we really want anything more in life? Well maybe love, success, money… who ever said girls were complicated 😉 The bottom line is that sometimes we are just LAZY! And that is perfectly fine. We all just need a day every once in a while. You know the Netflix binging, ice cream eating, sweat pant wearing DAYYYY!

The good news is this look includes yoga pants! Can I get an “Amen?” Today I wanted to share my tips on looking chic when you are just plain old feeling lazy!

1. Layer

Pile it on! Layers tend to make an outfit look more dynamic and interesting. Plus layers allow you to quickly adjust to the ever varying temperature. Jackets are a must for a cozy but cute style. You can never go wrong with a denim jacket!

2. Wear Black

Black=Chic. Have you seen New York City Fashion for the last…idk.. 50 years! Black never goes out of style, plus it looks chic with minimal effort. Go for black on black, but break it up with a jacket or cardigan.

3. Wear a Trendy Kick

When I am feeling lazy, I almost always want to grab my flip flops and call it a day. But are really so many other shoes that are more comfortable and look far more trendy! Converse is a no brainer. But switch it up with a fun color or style.

4. Opt for a No Hassle Bag

Sometimes big purses can just be a pain. It feels like it takes fifteen minutes just to find a darn pen when you need one! For running errands, I often prefer a classic black chain bag that will make the whole experience far less complicated.

What is your go to look when you are feeling lazy?!
