Happy Monday Loves!
I am so happy to get back into my regular blogging routine after a few wonderfully crazy weeks with family. I have really been able to explore so many parts of Las Vegas recently that I feel like I have really gotten to know the area. If you ever come to Vegas and need advice on what to do, just hit me up girl!
Anyway, a few weekends ago I went to Sedona, Arizona and was in such awe of the beauty of the mountains. I got to explore a little bit with my in laws as well as hit a few adorable little shops while we were there. I came across this Aztec Jumpsuit while shopping and immediately felt inclined to try it on!
Now mind you, this was the first time I have EVER tried on a jumpsuit! I was a little intimated at first, but since the price was so right, I just had to step outside my comfort zone and give it a whirl!
After purchasing my first jumpsuit, I felt that I learned a few tips and trips on how to make a jumpsuit work no matter your height or body weight! Here are my tips on how to wear a jumpsuit!
1. Wear Heels
Unless you have mile high legs, I highly suggest wearing a shoe that has a heel to it when wearing a jumpsuit. You really want to elongate your body as much as possible, especially if you are on the shorter side like me.
2. Define Your Waist
Pick a style jumpsuit that defines your waist. Or if you really love the style, but it doesn’t do your waist justice, than throw on a belt to emphasis your figure.
3. The More Fitted, The Better
A style that is snug around the curves of your body will look the most flattering. The one that I am wearing is actually not the most flattering on my figure. Because it balloons a little on the legs, it makes me look bigger than I am. So pick a style that hugs your body more.
4. Add a Statement Piece
This jumpsuit is a statement in itself! But if you want to take your jumpsuit to a whole new level, add a statement piece like a bold bag or necklace. Especially, if the jumpsuit is black, you will want to dress it up a bit.
5. Say Goodbye to Bathroom Runs
Oh my goodness is this such a pain to pee in! Be prepared to hold it in to avoid getting practically naked just to go to the bathroom! Although jumpsuits can be adorable, they are also not always practical for formal or social events.
Have you ever wore a jumpsuit before? What are your thoughts?
