Can you believe it December already?! For the first day of the month, I had to bring you something festive! This time of year, you will see the Internet popping with all kinds of ways to update your look for the season. Some expensive and complicated, and others simple and easy. Today, I wanted to bring you a super easy and achievable look that you can wear to parties, events, or even to work! I actually wore this look to work the other day to put myself in the Christmas spirit.
Face
A few months back I purchased the YSL Blur Primer and have been obsessed ever since. I started out with that and then went on to apply my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation with my Beauty Blender. I have been trying the new Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and LOVE it! I applied that to my under eyes, chin, and center of my forehead for a highlighting effect. I always set my face with my Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. Although I am dying to try their new Candle Glow Powder. I bronzed my skin with my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, and used M.A.C Gingerly Blush, which is a peachy brown. For highlighter, I used the Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop. You can see a lot of the products in this post.
Eyes
Lately, I have really been enjoying my Makeup Geek eye shadow palette that I custom created. The shades I used in this look were Peach Smoothie, Frappe, and Coco Bear. On my lid is M.A.C All That Glitters. I have pictures of my palette HERE. I always use Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black. And for mascara, I have been layering Too Faced Better than Sex and Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara. I got the Sephora Lash kit and have been experimenting with different formulas.
Brows
My never fail brow duo is the Anastasia Brow Definer in Taupe and their Clear Brow Gel. Although, I must admit that I need to shape my brows asap with brow threading. It only costs about $10!
Lips
I am lip liner gal, and I simply cannot do my lipstick without it! I used M.A.C Trust in Red. And the grand finale is lipstick. I used YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 17. You might have to go in store to find it. Try Sephora or Nordstrom.
Hair
As I am sure you know by now, this is my signature hair look. You can actually watch the full video on how I curl my hair HERE. I used the Bellami 6-in-1 Curling Wand 1.25 Inch barrel. I also slightly teased my hair at the root and finished with the Caviar by Alterna Hairspray.
And that completes this look! I hope you are able to recreate this look at home. Tweet me @glamlifeliving if you end up trying it out!
Thanks for stopping by!
Amazing makeup! You look flawless!
