If you are a YouTube fanatic like me, than you may have heard all the hype about the company Gerard Cosmetics. It began as a teeth whitening business called Whitening Lighting. In a short time, the brand has created a big name for itself and transformed into a raved about makeup company. Women all over Youtube have been obsessing over their lip products. I am always anxious to try new products and compare what is already on the market with new and upcoming makeup trends. I decided to give Gerard Cosmetics a go and I am very pleased!
My first purchase was two lipsticks and two glosses. I decided to go for a combination of nude and color to compare the strength of the brand across the color spectrum.
I must say I am utterly impressed with these glosses. First off they are intensely pigmented. And I love the fact that there is a mirror on the side of tube. Also, when you take out the lip applicator, there is a light that activates! You can apply your gloss on the go day or night!
Shimmer of Hope Gloss: This is a light nude color that has a slight shimmer. It is beautiful when paired with a smokey eye!
Seduction Gloss– This is a deep purple shade that also has a golden undertone of shine. There is an image on Pinterest that has been floating around, and the model in the picture is rocking this deep lip.
Butter Cup Lipstick– Jaclyn Hill (a Youtube beauty guru) had the pleasure of creating this lipstick herself in conjunction with Gerard Cosmetics. It is the most beautiful pinky nude. It is so creamy and full of color pay-off. I wore it on a road trip yesterday and I did not have to reapply it for 4-5 hours!
Fire Engine Lipstick-This is the classic old Hollywood red color. Again the formula is to die for! It is so buttery and applies to the lips so effortlessly.
What I also love about he brand is that they are always having amazing coupon codes and deals. You will never have to pay full price for an item!
