After a week off from blogging, I am ready to pump out some awesome content for you all this week! I took some time off to catch up after my two week trip to New York. You know how it is playing catch up after time away traveling! It always takes me a little time to feel organized again, but I found I still wasn’t satisfied after unpacking my clothes and belongings.
I’m convinced that I caught the Spring cleaning bug a little early this year; I have been cleaning and purging everything! On Instagram Live yesterday, I filmed part of the process of a massive closet purge! I discussed how a recent book read, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, has motivated me to only keep the items in my life that bring joy. I actually ended up donating and giving away over 3/4 of my entire wardrobe. Surprisingly, it felt amazing! And this pink faux fur jacket was one of the items that made the cut.
I have a couple of fur jackets in my wardrobe, you can see them styled here and here. And I ended up keeping them all because they really do put a smile on my face. Yes, I will admit they tend to be a little “over the top.” But I also feel that they immediately elevate your outfit to look high fashion status. A fur jacket just looks plain fashionable!
I wore this look this weekend while walking around the strip. Admittedly, I did turn a few heads in this outfit. It also came with a few eye rolls as well. But it didn’t stop me from strutting about! Be confident in your style. As long as you feel amazing in it, that is all that matters!
