Who doesn’t want a flawless face? I am pretty sure most of us girls would love to have perfect skin, no acne, no scars, no discoloration, no imperfections. But let’s face it, we all have something about our face that we dislike. That’s where foundation comes in! Foundation is meant to enhance your skin’s natural appearance and cover any minor skin imperfections. The biggest trick with foundation is finding the perfect one for YOUR skin.

So how do you pick your perfect liquid foundation without spending lots of time, effort, and money on a product you will not LOVE? The trick is knowing and understanding your skin. Afterall, it is your skin that the product will lay on. Shouldn’t you know about your own canvas?

First determine your skin type. Do you have excess oil in your T zone and have problems with your makeup slipping off your skin? If so, you have an oily skin type. Is your skin tight, flaky, and lifeless. Then you have dry skin. Is your skin pretty normal with minor oil and no dry patches? You have the normal skin type. Do you have issues with oil, dry patches, as well as normal areas of skin? If so, you are combination.

Now find your skin type and read a few tips and tricks about choosing the right liquid foundation for you!

Oily Skin

You want a foundation that will

-Not break you out   -Not slip off your face   – Mattify your skin   -Control Oil

-Hide any imperfections caused by acne or discoloration

Look for a foundation that has a matte or semi-matte finish. You also want it to say “Oil-Free.”

Favorite Foundations for Oily Skin: Smashbox Studio Skin (Medium to Full Coverage), L’Oreal True Match (Medium to Full Coverage), Makeup For Ever HD (Medium Coverage).

Dry Skin

You want a foundation that will

– hydrate your skin – Lock in moisturize – Illuminate your face -Bring back life and brightness

-Reduce appearance of fine lines

Look for foundations that have a luminous or dewy finish.

Normal Skin

You want a foundation that will

– Reduce minor redness or skin imperfections – Give evenness to your complexion

The great thing about normal skin is you really can get away with a number of different foundations. The main questions you want to ask yourself is the following :Do I want my skin to have a glow to it? Then find a foundation with a dewy finish. Do I not want shine or glow? Then get a foundation with a matte finish. It is really about the way you want your skin to look.

Foundations for Normal Skin: It Cosmetics CC Cream (Light to Medium Coverage), Make Up Forever HD (Medium Coverage), Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk (Medium Coverage).

Note: I have combination skin. I tend to go for foundations that are oil- free, semi-matte, and medium to full coverage. My top three foundations at the moment are 1. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, YSL All Hours Foundation, and Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation

Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to grasp so much approximately this, such as you wrote the book in it or something.

I believe that you simply can do with a few p.c. to force the
message house a bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog.

An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.
