What I’m Wearing

Although I have lived in hot and humid climates for the past five years of my life, including Las Vegas, Dallas, and now Tampa, I have not been much of a swimsuit lover. I have never owned very many and never found myself drawn to buying more. My personality is one that likes to stay busy, so I often find it difficult to stay sitting for a long period of time. This means laying on the beach to get a tan rarely happens. I’m all about that self tanner life!
But now that I am a Florida girl, I have been on the hunt for finding styles that fit my personal taste in fashion, as I know my beach and pool days will be much more frequent. And wow is it hard to find a swimsuit! I had been on the hunt for weeks, when I finally came across this blue floral retro style one piece at Nordstrom. Although I do have bikinis and will still wear them, I am drawn to one pieces. I have embraced my small chest and find them to be less of a fuss.
Another one piece that I have been wearing is this pink eyelet style by Red Dress Boutique. I think that finding a swimsuit you love is about showing off the parts of your body that you like. Admittedly, I have always liked my back and I enjoy how low cut the style is. I will be putting together a post on the best swimsuits for your body shape in the near future. But overall, I think these two styles are flattering on most women!
But I also have rounded up a bunch of feminine styles that I think are stunning at all price points. Just click the image to take you to the retailer.
These photos were taken for my short staycation in St. Petersburg for my birthday. Let me know if you would like to see a dedicated post on what we did and where we ate and stayed! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today.
