Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their three day weekend! I know I am! I thought that with the mark of this Holiday, it would be the perfect time for a makeup routine refresh. The change of season is a great opportunity to update your look. This summer, I had such a fun time experimenting with hot pink lip colors, but now I am ready to move to the dark side!
Today I am bringing you a Fall Makeup Look! I tried to include pictures for every step of the makeup application; however I forget to include a picture of my bronzer and blush! For Fall, I usually like to start transitioning to more full coverage foundations and darker lip shades. I also really enjoy switching over to some matte eye shadows as well! I am a glitter gal through and through but sometimes it is nice to take a walk on the dark side!
I also did something I barely ever do… I bought a DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION! I am a little bit of a snob when it comes to foundations. I have always felt that if there is one thing you should spend money on, it should be something that makes your skin look amazing. I love my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, but the price tag is pretty hefty! When my bottle ran out, I decide to try the L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation, and I was actually impressed! It is so similar in both coverage and finish to the Armani. I still lean toward the Giorgio Armani, but for the price, you just can’t beat the Pro Glow! But enough rambling, at the end of the post I will list all the products I used to achieve this makeup look. Enjoy!
Face
As I discussed in the beginning of the post, for foundation I used the L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation. I applied it with my used and abused beauty blender! Next, I applied my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. To set the face, I applied my Laura Mericer Translucent Setting Powder. For bronzer, I used my favorite Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. To complete the face, I used the Becca Cosmetic X Jaclyn Hill Face Palette blush and highlighter.
Eyes
I LOVE Morphe Eye Shadows. They are amazing quality for their price point. For this look, I used the Morphe 350 Palette. I started with the light brown shades in my crease and slowly added darker colors every step. I went for a beige color on my lid and darkened the outer corners of my eyes with a deep brown. For eyeliner, I used my Maybelline Gel Liner in Blackest Black as always! I decided to pop on some false lashes, and the style I chose was by Lena Lashes in the Style Claudia. To finish the eyes, I used Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara on my lower lashes.
Lips
I ALWAYS line my lips. M.A.C Soar is the perfect lip liner for al your Fall lip shades. I opted for a liquid lipstick by Anastasia Beverly Hills in the shade Dusty Rose. I hate the feeling of a liquid lipstick, so I almost always will top it off with a gloss. I recently picked up the Dior Lip Maximizer and love the way it makes your lips appear fuller!
If you made it all the way to the end, then you deserve a metal! I hope you enjoyed with makeup look. Let me know if you want to see more blog posts like this!
Happy Labor Day!
