What I’m Wearing
Every season when the fall fashion trends emerge like a verdict from the God of Vogue, you are left with either excitement or a sour taste in your mouth. Trends (due to their fleeting nature) might resonate with you one season and appall you the next. This season I find myself loving about half of the trends while despising the rest. This can leave you feeling frustrated when it comes to building your fall wardrobe. Do we really want a wardrobe that is full of trends that will simply be off Vogue’s “approved” list of the season next year? What about that top you loved so much last year? Can you wear that without a scoff of some fashion police? Although I do like to try to trends and have fun in my wardrobe, I am not about the hamster wheel of fashion.
I have always been about curating my own unique style, while incorporating some of the latest fashion trends when I feel they fit “me.” I encourage you to take this approach as it will lift away the burden of feeling the need to “keep up with it all.” That is why I have compiled a list of fall closet staples that you can feel good about investing in this season. You do not have to worry that these pieces will be out of season next year. These are timeless classics that you can have in your wardrobe for years to come!
