Dress: Zaful
Some dresses are so special that you wait to wear them for a special occasion. This dress has been hanging in my closet for months waiting for a time when the baby bump was ready to display its beauty. Well, the bump has definitely not been shy recently as it carries my 31 week nugget. I can’t believe we are less than 9 weeks away until baby boy’s arrival!
Recently, I have been a lot more casual in my day to to day outfits since I have been taking it pretty easy after a little hospital scare. I will go over the details in an updated bumpdate post. But I have been trying not to over do it lately and that has allowed for a lot of minimal makeup and unstyled hair days. So last weekend, the hubs and I decided to go on an impromptu date night, which of course included blog pictures. One of our favorite spots is Lake Las Vegas, which is basically a mini resort that is open to the pubic. Every time we go there, I feel like I have left my town and entered an exotic tropical getaway. Oh if only!
Often times we wait for an occasion to arise for an excuse to get all dolled up and have a romantic night out. But sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands and make it happen! Do you have a dress that has been hanging in your wardrobe forever that is begging to be taken out? Wipe off those dust bunnies and take it for a twirl! My challenge for you this weekend is to find an excuse to treat yourself to a night in your nicest dress. I don’t care if it involves a home cooked meal and rental movie. But wear that dress! Life is too short.
