We all know that a little black dress is an absolute necessity to have in your closet. But how many times do you find yourself actually grabbing it? I have at least 5-6 black dress in my closet that I barely ever wear! And I think I realized why! It is because they are dressy and not very easy/comfortable to wear? So I have found the perfect solution!
I found this ruffle cami dress at Old Navy and at first I looked right past it. And then I thought, “Wait, that actually might be super comfy and I could wear it so many different ways!” Then when I saw the price tag, I thought,”Um, NO BRAINER!” I wore this out and about on Saturday evening and I couldn’t believe how many complements I got. Someone actually told me that I looked,” So put together.” I almost laughed inside because I felt like I was wearing a long t shirt. That is how easy it was to wear!
So I am changing the rules on your little black dress. Make it comfortable and easy! I was able to make the dress appear more evening appropriate by pairing it with some heels and cute bag. You could also wear it throughout the Fall season by throwing in a long cardigan or wrap sweater. I might even wear it again to work later this week. The options are endless!
While wearing this dress on Saturday, I stopped by my local Bath and Body Works and picked up my favorite Fall candle, Pumpkin Cupcake. It is so amazing how scents can bring you back to memories so easily. Last year I remember burning that candle while we were packing for our big move across country to Las Vegas. I can’t believe we have almost been here for a whole year! Time flies so fast!
