I think that most of us have had a few travel outfits that may have consisted of our favorite pair of leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. Barefaced and a little tired looking, we roll through the airport hoping we don’t run into anyone we know. I have been there girl. When it comes to dressing for the airport, there are a lot of factors that determine my appearance. First and foremost is the flight time. If I am only going to be on the plane for a couple of hours, I will go for something comfortable but chic. If I was hopping on an International flight, I may opt for something even more casual. But today, I wanted to bring you a type of outfit that I consistently wear for my days of airport travel.
1. Soft Denim
The key to feeling good in jeans during long flights is to go for a pair that is soft in material. Try to leave those super skinny jeans packed away. They are usually not the best option for travel. I have been wearing these cropped flare that I purchased this fall and they are actually on sale right now for $29.97!
2. A Solid Tee
The beauty of the tee is its chic simplicity. You can easily make it look a little more put together with a scarf or structured jacket. Plus you will definitely rewear it over the course of your trip!
3. An Oversized Cardigan
No matter the season, I always end up wearing an oversized cardigan in the airport. I always feel like the temperatures are fluctuating between the air conditioning in the airport and the cabin temperature in the plane. This pink Halogen one is a new favorite and available now for $79.
4. Cute Sneakers
If I am not wearing sneakers, then I will go for a loafer shoe. Even though I am usually a heel girl, I will obviously opt for a flat for long days of traveling. These Philippe Model sneakers have been on repeat and are perfect for lots of walking.
What do you usually wear for travel? This has been my go to outfit for a while now and it never fails me!
