I know, I know. Your like, “seriously Hannah? I haven’t even finished my Christmas shopping yet!” But I swear I have your best interest at heart. I went into Target yesterday to see what other toys I could pick up for Oliver for Christmas and it looked like the apocalypse! My mind started wandering and I starting thinking how grateful I was to have grabbed my wrapping paper and decor items early this year. The saying, “The early bird gets the worm,” very much applies to getting your hands on the cute Holiday items!
We are busy and it can be so hard to accomplish the never ending to do list. So I don’t blame you for not even thinking about your New Years outfit yet. But that is where I come in. I love putting together festive looks for you so that you can gain inspiration to grab the dress to make YOUR life easier!
The typical fabric choice for New Years is most definitely sequins. But it can quickly appear cheap or overdone. If you want to sparkle, but were looking for something a little more conservative, this is your dress! You could literally wear this around any crowd and look both fabulous and modest. We may adore a dress in the store and die to have it hanging in our closet, but then we start to over analyze every detail including the dress length or neckline.
If your office is having a party or you are spending it with family or a more conservative crowd, this dress will make you feel confident and chic. Or let’s say you don’t really care about how “modest” a dress is or isn’t. This rose gold sequins number is to die for anyway! I feel that it’s silhouette is also more timeless and could be worn again for many occasions in the future.
Have you started to plan out your New Year’s Eve? I definitely have no idea what I am doing, but I do know what I am wearing 😉 #thatswhatcounts
