I feel like I need to preface this blog post with a mile high of apologizes and explanations as to why it has taken me so long to get this post together. So for that I am sorry. One of the main reasons I had for putting it off was that these DIFF Eyewear Jade glasses keep going in and out of stock. But I realized that it will probably continue to be the case so I might as well give you the info so that you can be in the know! I will say that I pushed the “notify me when available” button on the Jade glasses and they actually came back into stock pretty quickly. But you will want to grab them as soon as you can!
Okay, but you might be wondering what on earth blue light glasses are! They are essentially glasses that protect your eyes against the blue light that is emitted by our digital screens. Ultimately they may relieve headaches from too much screen time or a general relief while you are looking at your devices.
A few things to keep in mind.
- A lot of the styles are more oversized. So make sure you are looking at the measurement to ensure that they are a flatting size for your face shape.
- I do not recommend wearing them for a long period of time when you are NOT looking at a screen. I have noticed it can have an opposite affect if you wear them too long in a regular environment with normal light.
- I can actually see my screen better. If you work in the creative industry or edit photos frequently. I love using them for that purpose.
- They do relieve headaches and sore/tired eyes from too much screen exposure.
Overall, I do think they are worth it. Aside for being a cute addition to your outfit, they really do help if you are someone who has a job that requires you to spend a lot of time in front of a screen. My husband has the Felix Grey glasses, my brother in law has the MVMT glasses, and I have the DIFF glasses. Honestly, I think my husband’s work the best. But I think mine are the cutest! The problem I had with the Felix Grey styles were that most of them were quite large in size and not as flattering on a more petite head size.
