The industry of blogging is never as glamorous as it seems. Yes of course there are aspects that are fun or indulging; however, there is often so much that goes on behind the scenes that would probably shock you or make you laugh out loud. This type of spin on reality is probably why the phrase “Instagram vs. Reality” became a trend. In an effort to show more of my personal life as discussed in a recent blog post, I thought it would be entertaining to show you a few photos of an actual planned blog shoot as well as some real and raw photos that we snapped afterward waiting for our take out.

After finishing up the shoot, we headed to pick up some take out pizza. The below picture is Oliver’s excitement when we told him what was for dinner! Our little almost 3 year old, has actually come along with us for almost every single blog shoot since he has been born. Although it can be challenging pushing around a stroller (but hey it makes for a great clothing rack too!), it is special to know that he has been there every step of the way!

The first four photos were taken after the official blog shoot with my iPhone, and the five others are the real deal shot with our Canon. I put all the photos into Lightroom to edit them as I usually do. But as you can see, simply editing an iPhone photo with a professional editing software can really transform a photo as well!
