It’s Friday! I’m so thrilled it is finally the weekend! Weekends are when I really like to get all dolled up and explore my local area with my hubby. There is just something about the weekends that make me feel so free that I am willing to experiment with pretty much any pattern in my wardrobe.

Lately, I have had no fear when picking out my outfit in the morning. I stopped asking questions and just starting throwing things together and hoped that I wouldn’t look like I fell off the looney bus! The best part about personal style is that there really are no rules. Yes, fashion may have a few suggestions, but when you add your own twist and flare it becomes uniquely your own.

Sometimes certain styles or prints might look more flattering on our particular body types, but when it comes down to it, the only thing that really matters is how you feel when you are wearing it!

Spring and Summer are a great times to take a few risks in your outfits. Try wearing a color that normally scares you. Or rock a bold print that might even overwhelm you. You’ll notice that it is really not as terrifying as it might seem. In fact, you might actually feel fabulous in it!

If you are new to wearing bold prints, then start with a style that contains a black and white color palette. You really can’t go that wrong when you stick to those two colors. And if you are wanting to add a little more color to your daily outfit choice, then I suggest starting with a bright lipstick or a brightly colored bag, but really the possibilities are endless!

Take risks when getting dressed in the morning. Sure you might have some days where you look in the mirror and say, “absolutely not!.” But then again, you just might be surprised how far creativity will take you!
