Do you ever feel like your mood is dependent upon how good your hair looks? Maybe a tad over dramatic, but good hair days can feel like a total win! I have had the same signature hair look for years, and I was finally feeling like I needed a change. So I brought back my extensions! Today, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite hair tools and how I have been styling my new look.
Blow Dryer
An essential item that if invested in, truly can change your hair texture and feel. Until a year and a half ago, I just used a basic blow dryer. But during a black Friday sale, I picked up the travel T3 dryer and have loved how quickly it dries my hair while protecting it from as much damage. Even my mother in law used it while visiting post baby and loved how it made her hair feel!
Curling Tools
This interchangable wand is hands down my number one hair tool. I used to wear my hair in tighter curls, but recently I have opted for a looser style. I usually use a 1.25 inch barrel for my everyday look. But the 1 inch is also a great option for a wavy look as well. If I am going for a more traditional curl look, I will pick up my T3 curling iron. I bought the base that allows you to change out the size of the barrel. I just have the 1.25 curling barrel, but eventually I would like some other sizes.
Straightener
I don’t straighten my hair often because it dries that way naturally; however, I do like having one for smoothing down strands and wearing it pin straight on occasion. This one by T3 is a pretty nice tool. It smooths hair without causing excess breakage.
Brushes
I am a huge fan of the wet brush. I have converted several friends to make the switch and they all love it as well. It detangles strands and prevents breakage. I also started putting in a little more effort with my blow dry routine by using a round brush. It truly does create a load of extra volume!
