It’s hard to believe that it is almost that time of year again. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is usually the event that reminds me that summer is coming to an end. If you you are still getting your education, this is usually the time of year that you begin to pick out some new clothing items for the new school year’s wardrobe.
I put together this cute back to school inspired outfit (but you can totally wear it even if you are out of school!) that would be the perfect way to “dress to impress.” As it is usually still hot, I love the idea of wearing a denim skirt. Pairing it with a crop top makes the look feel even more flirty and youthful. If you can’t wear a crop style at school, the best way to make it work (or get away with it!) is actually to wear the skirt higher on your waist and pull the top down. That way your tummy only shows if you reach for something!
But even if you are passed that season of life, I also love to use this as an excuse to stock up on some wardrobe staples or even freshen up my desk accessories (where are all my teachers at?!).
