If you are a little out of the loop, Pantone announces a color each year that dominates in all areas of fashion and design. Ever since the purple shade, Ultra Violet was announced, we have seen all ranges of the color be paraded in department stores. My personal favorite variation has been the pink lavender shade, you can see here.
After bringing home this dress, I couldn’t believe it was only the second item I owned in the purple family! My husband even complimented me saying he loved how I looked in the color. So often we are afraid of color with the idea that it will make us look too juvenile; however, opting for a more dusty or muted variation of the shade will prevent that from being the case.
