With my growing belly, it can often be a challenge getting dressed in the morning. I still have yet to buy maternity clothes, although I think that day is coming soon! There have been days where I put something on and go to work, only to realize it is way too uncomfortable or unflattering. We all have different body types and it can be hard when we want to wear a trend, but we are afraid of how it will look on us.
It is true that there are some style that won’t be as flattering on us as it might be another. But the good news is that knowledge is power. It can be a struggle figuring out what styles look best on us, but once we find them we need to stick to it!
This top is actually one of those pieces that I think would look good on pretty much anyone. I mean I am 5 1/2 months pregnant and you can barely see my bump in these pics! Plus these ruffle sleeves are to die for! I am also planning on coming back to it post baby because I think it will be a flattering style as I am losing that baby weight.
Sometimes all it takes is a cute top to change your perspective! I was stressed and grumpy the day we took these photos, until I put this top on. I was feeling frustrated with finding something to wear, and once I put this on I felt comfortable and confident. That is what style should be. Dressing in a way that makes you feel good about yourself.

That is a beautiful top! I love the ruffles on the sleeve, and any tops that comfortably accomodate a baby belly are the kind of tops I’m still loving now post baby! 🙂
I know that ‘nothing fits the bump’ phase of pregnancy well too, so much that I wrote an ebook to help people avoid it and make pregnancy dressing easier! haha!
