When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. I am hanging onto that phrase right now because I worked very hard at writing a very long and personal post, just to have it all disappear in the blink of an eye. I cried. Could be the pregnancy hormones, or it could be that it is difficult to watch our hard work fly out the window. But I am trying to stay positive, because maybe that post wasn’t meant to be. Maybe things have a funny way of working out. Or maybe that was just unfortunate bad luck.
I think we can all relate to things not going our way from time to time. And our attitude can play a major role in determining the next turn of events. There was a second there where I almost said, “That’s it. I’m exhausted. I can’t write all that all over again, and I just want to go to bed and forget it.” But that would mean I wouldn’t have this post up for you today. And I really didn’t want that. So I put my chin up, and said maybe, just maybe this was meant to be.
I think that it is moments or even days like this that I remember why I love fashion and beauty so much. Because in a funny way, if you have a terrible day, at least your outfit is still cute! It’s basically like that saying, “On a bad day, there is always lipstick.” Sometimes we just have to smack on a little lipstick, throw on a cute dress, and get over it! We give up too easily. We stop too soon. And we are scared of a challenge. But I say brush off the dirt and get back on the horse. Don’t give up today. Whatever challenge or frustration today brings, take it on with a smile and say, “NOT TODAY!” I am not giving up today. Fight a little harder, smile a little wider, and dress a little cuter. That’s my advice today ladies. Now go get ’em!
You look very cute
