Happy Valentine’s Day! Well, we made it. Even if you were dreading this day, the good news is it is almost over! But I had to share one last look, and I have to say I think I saved the best for last! I have been saving this dress for this occasion, because let’s be honest aside from Christmas when else is there an appropriate time to wear red sequins?
As I talked about in my last post, the hubs and I are keeping it pretty simple this year. Mainly because I have been “celebrating” this day for almost two weeks now by prepping all these posts for you. But I did wake up my boo early with a heart themed breakfast. And by early I mean EARLY. I will have left my house by 6:30am by time you are reading this! But I also have quite a few things planned for him when he gets home from work. I am pretty big on printables and making things look cute. So if you need any last minute ideas, I recommend heading over to the Dating Divas website. I am actually pretty excited because I feel like he is constantly outdoing me on Holidays and I think I might have him beat this time. And the best part is I didn’t even spend very much money! Can I get an Amen?!
On a more serious note, we do get so caught up in how much we are spending and what we are doing, when what we should be concerned about is if we are making our significant other feel loved and appreciated. Whether or not you think VDAY is a “commercial” Holiday, you shouldn’t pass up an opportunity to show a little love to the people around you. And thank you! I really appreciate the love and support that you show me on a daily basis by reading my posts. I hope that you feel especially loved today. But better yet, I hope that today you love on others better than any day you’ve had so far.
