Two days to go! Can you believe it? I have safely arrived in New York to be with family over the Christmas break and I can’t even tell you how peaceful and joyful it has been. And can we talk about this weather for a second? I am definitely not in Vegas anymore! But I am totally digging this snow and loving the Christmas vibes it gives.
Before Christmas Day, I had to bring you one more look. I will be honest and say that I had a whole bunch of other looks that I was supposed to do for you all, but it has been one thing after another and they didn’t arrive on time! So sad. But this look is so beautiful that hopefully it will make up for it. Traditionally, you would go for a black or red dress for your Christmas activities. But I love how different, but still elegant and festive this look is. Long skirts can be so glamorous, and when you are short like me, the high low effect makes it a little more wearable. This rose/blush color has been so on trend recently and with the added metallic touch, you are basically screaming glam!
So this Christmas, I suggest going outside your comfort zone and wearing something metallic or glittery. If you are nervous about being too “showy” then finish your outfit off with a rhinestone belt. It adds a touch of luxe without drawing too much attention. Opt for fabrics that are extra feminine such as lace, metallics, or sequins. Obviously, I would also suggest wearing a shawl or sweater so you don’t freeze yourself to death like me!
