Dress: Here Bag: Here Shoes: Similar Lipstick: Nars
I have been desperately lusting after a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte for a couple of weeks now. And I am so excited that it is finally right around the corner! There is something about this season that makes me feel so giddy and happy inside. Aside from all the pumpkin baked goods that are coming my way, I can honestly say I am even more thrilled about Fall Fashion!
The end of August and the month of September can often be a difficult time of transition. You can be confused on what to wear and I can totally understand your frustration! If you are still experiencing the summer heat, but are eager to start wearing Fall clothing trends than I have a couple of tips for you!
1. Start Wearing Fall Colors
Just because it is hot, doesn’t mean you can’t start wearing your favorite Fall shades. Red is super on trend for this season. I loved how this dress could easily have a Fall vibe by pairing it with black accessories.
2. Choose Open Toed Booties
These shoes are perfect for this time of year because they give you a fall look without going overboard. You need a pair like this in your life now!
3. Switch to More Neutral Accessories
Now this is definitely not a rule. But I actually find that I prefer to tone it down a notch with my accessory colosr in the Fall. Black accessories are always a win!
4. Switch to Mauve Lip Colors
I can’t even tell you how much fun I had sporting bright pink lips this Summer. But I will probably be packing away some of my colorful/ bright lip shades and bringing out the reds and nudes.
I seriously can’t tell you how many compliments I got on this dress when I wore it to a wine festival in Denver. I also wore this dress out and about the day we took these photos, and people just loved it! You really can’t beat it for $22. Would you rock the cold shoulder bell sleeve dress?!
