Okay if you want to get technical, then yes, Spring still is a few more weeks away. But in my mind, it has arrived! Plus living in Las Vegas definitely has its perks in terms of sunny weather. 75 degrees in early March? Um yes, please!
This gorgeous weather has me thinking about ways to update my wardrobe for Spring. It is always so fun to pull out your Spring and Summer clothes after a yucky cold Winter. Its almost like having a whole new wardrobe again!
So dust off those bright and bold tops because it’s time to get Spring ready!
1. A fabulous pair of sunglasses
Okay, so yeah duh you need sunglasses for the warmer months. But aren’t you totally board with your current pair? I’m saying you need to bust out a pair of Audrey Huburn Cat Eye Sunnies or a bright pink pair with freaking feathers on them! Okay maybe not that extreme. But I dare you to jump outside your comfort zone and grab a pair that makes you feel edgy and sexy.
2. A Statement Necklace
I seriously live in these. Its a little obnoxious. But my jewelry stand is constantly toppling over because its so darn heavy #firstworldproblems. A statement necklace can really take your outfit to the next level. It’s also a really great and easy way to add some flare to a boring old t shirt and jeans. Statement necklaces make you look instantly put together.
3. A Bold Bag
Spring and Summer make it totally appropriate to have an “in your face” colored bag. I am torn between picking up either a hot pink or a neon green one. What do you think? Anyway, bold bags make it easy to make your whole outfit feel fun and girly. Even in a white t and shorts you can look effortlessly chic.
4. The Perfect Pair of Wedges
Ah wedges. I love you because you make me feel tall! Wedges are great because they are fairly comfortable to walk in and they can look super sexy in short, skirts, dresses, and jeans! I mean come on that’s like a quadruple wammy! Find a pair that fairly is neutral so you can wear them with anything. I mean neon green is cool too though 😉
5. A Hot Pink Lipstick
When you are rocking that tan, the nude lipsticks just don’t cut it anymore. Pink lipsticks not only make you look girly and put together, but also give you that life you need when your skin is looking bronzed. Don’t be afraid to go bold. Bolder is definitely better this time of year!
