What I’m Wearing
Dress: Amanda Uprichard, Similar // Bag: Neely & Chloe // Heels: Louboutin // Earrings: Similar, Similar
Going back to work full time has forced me to change the way I look at my wardrobe. Many professions force us to dress more business oriented and that often does not reflect our preferred option of dressing. I decided that I was going to try my best to incorporate my personal style as much as possible, while still maintaining a professional way of dressing.
Business wear can often feel forced or even basic at times. But it is important to show your personal flare even when you are at the office. Upgrading those work wear staples is a must to bringing a more fashion forward look to the work environment. Replacing those key pieces is a great way to give your work closet a facelift.
The first thing I did when getting my wardrobe ready for a full time job was to get a fabulous work tote that would be both practical and stylish. Neely & Chloe has been a brand that I have fallen in love with recently. I adore there timeless designs that have a modern flare. So when I saw they had a Carryall Tote, I knew it would the perfect bag to take me through my daily work adventures.
What I love about this carryall tote design is that it is made of leather and has several pockets on the inside. It also has a pretty gold clasp that allows you to keep the bag partially closed. The side flaps also tucks into the bag for a more compact look or can be expanded when unclasped. I chose white for a clean and minimal design; however, there are other colors available on their website.
I hope you have a lovely weekend. Cheers to Friday!
Thanks so much for reading.
