What I’m Wearing
Dress: Riad Label c/o // Bag: Neely & Chloe // Shoes: Steve Madden // Earrings: Francescas
Color can be an intimating concept in a wardrobe. Some are fully supportive of color in their closet and adore to be drenched in a rainbow of shades on a daily basis. While others are all aboard the neutral train and have no intention of stepping off anytime soon. I am a big supporter in dressing in a way that makes you happy. But if you are hesitant to join the world of color, there are a few ways to get your feet wet first!
Wearing colored items in your accessories is a popular way of introducing them into your wardrobe. But we often forget that we don’t have to go for the brightest hue of the shade! You are not limited to a pop of cherry red or a mustard yellow! Softer shades are fabulous for ladies who want to ease into the process. One color that I have been gravitating toward lately (aside from yellow because we all know I have been obsessing over it) is a light blue.
Blues can be soft and calming. I actually decided to paint my guest bathroom a pale blue (Pale Smoke by Benjamin Moore) because I am so into the softer blue hues at the moment. Tones that have a cooler undertone can really be a great palette to start with if you are hesitant of super bold colors. I have rounded up some of my favorite accessories at the moment in this soft and calm light blue hue!
