What I’m Wearing
Dress: Gal Meets Glam Aurora, Also in Pink // Sandals: Here, Similar // Bag: Similar // Scarf: Similar
Somehow I blinked, and it was already almost Easter! And boy was Target a mad house today. Everyone and their mother also realized that Easter was in less than a week and was ravenous in the Easter aisles! If you are like me, and Easter snuck up on you, don’t worry because I have put together a look that is perfect for those of you who want to feel comfortable and look elegant at the same time!
What is great about this Gal Meets Glam Collection dress is that it is a timeless style that is honestly perfect for a wide range of age groups and body types. It is a flattering style made of comfortable fabric that doesn’t wrinkle! I actually had this in my suitcase on my recent trip to Florida and was amazed that when I pulled it out, it was perfectly shaped!
I have been a huge fan of the Gal Meets Glam Collection and was thrilled that she added petite sizing! This flowy maxi also comes in a pink color as well! Instead of pairing it with my typical spring shoe (the wedge), I thought that I would show you that you could easily pair it down with a pair of slides if your Easter Sunday is going to be more relaxed. If I had longer hair, I think that a high pony with a ribbon in it would look so pretty with this dress!
Our Easter plans are pretty laid back this year as it will be just be my husband, son, and a girlfriend who is coming to visit for the weekend! This past year has been a year of firsts in terms of Holiday hosting for me. I cooked my first Thanksgiving in November by myself (except hubby did help with the Turkey!) I also hosted Christmas for our small little family. And now I am attempting my first Easter! Luckily, my girlfriend is a fantastic cook and will probably kick me out of the kitchen at some point! I always share my Holiday decor on Instastories the day of, so keep your eyes out for that!
What are your Easter plans? Is is more of a sit down meal? Do you just do brunch and then relax for the rest of the day? I would love to learn about your traditions!
Thanks so much for reading today’s post.
Usually for easter we do a big family didn’t but everyone has had a crazy year so far so my easter ended up being super quiet actually. Ah well there’s always next year. Just have to say, that dress is STUNNING on you as well! So so pretty.
